Meeting Notes for SCBOWBO

President Troy Moe started the meeting by complimenting Matt Rinaldi and Bill Brotten for their hustle and effort during games at Lynnwood High School. Board nominees are John Johnson, Leslie Tidball, and Kevin Stride. State assignments for this year:
The end of year party is in the planning stages, contact Greg Osborne with any suggestions or if you can help with the planning.
Troy led the group in a discussion about this years Points of Emphasis including uniforms and undershirts, coaches boxes, and time-out situations. We as officials need to be consistent and enforce the rules. Also, remember to use proper high school mechanics.
Game situations were discussed regarding some 3-person rotations, ball out of bounds and the defense fouls, and bonus free throw situations.
Dan Taylor reported that upcoming Tuesday and Thursday February 6 and 8 are heavy days for both boys and girls-so please be available if you can.
Kevin Erickson passed out flyers and a sign-up sheet for an upcoming Golf tourney that the boys association is hosting. See Kevin for more details.
Tony Churlin gave a presentation on court coverage and positioning for Lead, Trail, and Center officials. |
