Meeting Summary

General Meeting Held at 7 PM on Monday, December 13, 2004
at the Everett Elks Club:
(Apprentice Meeting at 6 PM)

A "Fundamentals of 3-person" video was viewed by several SCBOWBO officials prior
the general meeting at 6:30.
-
Tony Churlin called the meeting to order. Game scenarios were discussed
including some questions about switching in 3-person.

Pat Kaminske passed out a form that showed some minor changes to some of the
written criteria for each ratings category. A vote was taken on the changes
and it passed by a score of 54-5.

It was announced that Scott Morris will be taking a leave of absence and that
Glenn Dunbar has retired from officiating after 30 years. Both officials will
be missed this season.

Jason Bradley passed out voluntary donation slips for our player scholarship
program. Referees pledged an amount to be taken from their end-of-season paychecks
to be donated to the program. Jason collected the donation slips.

Larry Kiger collected the NFHS rules tests to be turned in to the WOA office.

Kevin Erickson discussed some new items on the website including a new "articles"
section which contains articles written by veteran SCBOWBO officials. A new
"3-person pregame form" is also available on the website.

Assignor Dan Taylor reminded everyone that rec ball games will be heating up soon
and he needs as many officials as possible to work rec ball.

Troy Moe will administer the video-taping program and will have a sign-up sheet
at the next general meeting.

Inadequate facilities for officials at Lakewood H.S. and Lake Stevens H.S. was
discussed and the board will follow-up.

Bruce Hoffman won the free shirt in the attendance raffle.

The next meeting is scheduled for January 10, 2005.
